Theme: “Post-Two Sessions: China’s Economic Progress and Its Trade and Economic Relations with the Philippines.”
Hello folks,
With great enthusiasm, we invite you to attend and participate in the 11th Manila Forum for Philippines-China Relations, a thought-provoking forum focusing on the theme “Post-Two Sessions: China’s Economic Progress and Its Trade and Economic Relations with the Philippines.” The forum will run from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon on March 21, 2024, at the New Era University School of Management.
Note that the Two Sessions is the collective term for the Chinese government’s annual plenary sessions of the National People’s Congress (NPC) and of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), which are typically both held annually every March at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. The Two Sessions last for about ten days. During the Two Sessions, the NPC and the CPPCC hear and discuss reports from the premier, the chief prosecutor, the President, and the Chief Justice of the Supreme People’s Court.
On the other hand, the Manila Forum for Philippines-China Relations aims to bring together prominent scholars, experts, and thought leaders from various fields to foster constructive dialogues and give insight into critical topics concerning international relations, diplomacy, global cooperation, and bilateral relations between the Philippines and China.
We hope you will accept this invitation and grace us with your presence. Your participation would not only enrich the conversation but also enhance the collaborative spirit of this forum. The forum will also be an excellent opportunity for networking, learning, and contributing to significant discussions. You will also find opportunities to engage with other experts and decision-makers, which will be professionally and personally rewarding.
We eagerly await your response regarding your availability for this event. Kindly confirm your availability on or before March 18, 2024.
